Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Game
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
The online version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is just what I was looking for as one of my much-loved TV shows is transformed into a real money online game.
Some of the graphics are a bit flawed, for example sound and movement don’t really match up but this doesn’t take anything away from the game.
The game is quite slow moving and it does take a while to get round to winning money, but nevertheless, it is still a great game.
How to play
Fastest Finger First
Firstly you need some lifelines. This is where fastest finger first comes in. Play fastest finger first just like in the real TV show version, however, instead of playing for your chance in the hot seat, you are playing for those all-important lifelines.
The faster you are, the more lifelines you get (get fastest finger first wrong and you lose all your lifelines). You lose those all important lifelines in the following order:
- Ask The Audience
- Phone A Friend
- 50-50
Win real cash
So now you have your lifelines, you are sat in the hot seat. Chris Tarrant will ask you questions worth different amounts of money. There are 15 questions to answer in total, and just like in the TV show, once you reach certain milestones, you can’t lose that total. You have 10 seconds to answer each question (so unfortunately you don’t have enough time to check on Google).
Who would enjoy it?
You need to have a good level of general knowledge as the questions start off fairly easy, but don’t be fooled; they get harder and harder, so get those thinking caps on.
If you are after a fast pace, quick firing question game, then this probably is not going to be your cup of tea. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is great if you are after a slower paced general knowledge game.
Beat the game
- You need to have good general knowledge, as some of the questions can be very tricky.
- Make good use of those lifelines, if you don’t get past the easier questions, you will never get round to the chance of winning real money.
- On fastest finger first, you will probably lose the ‘ask the audience’ lifeline, so you need to weigh up losing one life line compared to spending a few more seconds and getting the right answer.
Final words of advice
Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is a slow paced skill game, but definitely one to challenge your level of general knowledge. The graphics don’t do the game justice; I definitely recommend giving Who Wants To Be A Millionaire online game a chance and get that knowledge earning you a round or two extra next weekend.
