After being introduced to the game by Roy Walker (just press 'stop' if you want to speed things up) you will need to choose how many points you will be playing for.

To do this, the catchphrase board will appear with different amounts of points on it and you will need to press stop to determine how many points your game is worth (and we all know that points make prizes).

The next screen is the one with that all important catchphrase. You are given a while to have a look at the catchphrase and work out what Mr Chips is doing.

The next part of the real money catchphrase game is a bit like the old hangman game. You have to choose a letter (you are given three options) that you think is in the catchphrase and correctly answer the question that goes along with it. Those that have already had a peek at the game will know that each letter has a catagory underneath it, so to make it easier, pick the catagories rather then the letters. The catagory questions are:

• Science and Nature
• A-Z
• Show Biz
• Pot Luck
• Sport
• Pop Music
• People and Places 

If you choose the wrong letter, you lose a life and will be gien three new letters to choose from.

If you answer a question incorrectly you will lose a 'try again' (but don't worry you can win more in the Online Catchphrase game bonus round).

The Bonus round

Occasionally you will get the option of playing the bonus game. Instead of offering you three letters, you will be offered 2 letters and a box with a '?' symbol.

If you choose the '?' symbol, you will be shown a board with lots of different options. They will then be hidden and each square on the board will be highlighted one at a time. You need to push the stop button and the square it lands on will be your prize.

Some are good prizes and some are terrible (so remember where the good ones are at the start).

• Catchphrase Symbol - Deducts one symbol from the number required to win the Live Jackpot

• Extra Points - Adds a bonus number of points to the points bar when you complete the current catchphrase
• Game Over - Ends the game. All your winnings are lost
• Lose a Life - Deducts one life. If this was your last remaining life the game is over and you will lose all your winnings
• Spot Prize - Awards the indicated prize
• Super Try Again - Two try agains are added (you can have a maximum of 3)
• Try Again - Adds one Try Again (you can have up to a maximum of 3).

Catchphrase Winnings

After you complete a catchphrase you will be asked if you want to collect your cash winnings and end the game, or continue with the chance to win more money.

Hints and tips

In all honesty, there is no strategy when it comes to this online cash catchphrase game. The only help I can give you is:

• Choose the catagories that you find the easist to answer - The majority of the time, there are two letters that will fit in to your catachphrase and one that wont.
• Take your time - Even though you are against a timer, you have plenty of time to answer the questions.
• Try again - Use your try agains wisely.
• Bonus round - Use the bonus round to solve the catvchphrase you are on, or top up on those try agains and extra lives.
